Matt, President and Chief Creative Officer, oversees all creative design and website development at Rubic Design. Matt is trained in print, interactive design practices and corporate communications, and holds a BFA in Graphic Art/Art History from the University of Vermont. Prior to founding Rubic Design, he was Creative Director at a leading Boston-based web development company where he designed user-interface systems, and created e-commerce and web content management solutions for clients such as the MA Audubon Society, Cape Cod Bank & Trust, Stamford Advocate and Greenwich Times Newspapers Online. Recently, he was awarded a scholarship by Rhode Island Economic Development Council’s Business Innovation Factory (BIF) under their N-GEN program and was also recently selected from 500 worldwide candidates to design a suite of print and interactive travel guides for Singapore’s leading publisher (Metro Holdings, PTE). Matt has personally developed, designed and built over 300 websites over his career and is proficient in all graphic design and desktop publishing applications including Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Indesign and Acrobat Reader/Writer/Distiller, QuarkXpress, Microsoft Word/Powerpoint/Excel, as well as with Adobe GoLive, Imageready, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Macromedia Flash MX, and Macromedia Director MX multimedia applications. An established team of designers and technology experts assists him.

Andrew, Senior Web Programmer, is versed in established and emerging internet technologies and handles all web programming, testing, and maintenance for web development, content management system and e-commerce website projects. Prior to joining Rubic Design, Andrew built email newsletter applications for the U.S. Embassy and served as IT Consultant for TARGET CORPORATION. He has written security access and log-on access scripts and designed and implemented databases using MySQL and Access. He enjoys writing scripts for automating data input and collecting information from different servers/platforms, automatic user notification via email, and user registration scripts. Andrew has created web-based systems for uploading images and documents to servers to be automatically accessed online, developed search engines with administration tools, price calculators, event calendars all with permission-based administrative tools. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and is highly experienced in technologies such as Perl, CGI Scripting, ASP, HTML, DHTML, CSS, SSI, PHP, Cold Fusion, Java Script, VB Script, Windows Shell Scripting, Unix/Linux Shell/Bash, Python. MySQL, Access, SQL/PLSQL, Stored Procedures, Oracle, ODBC, Windows XP/2000/NT/98, Free BSD Unix, Red Hat/Suse/Mandrake Linux, Apache Web Server (with mod_perl), IIS 4.0, Samba Network Server, MySQL Server, MS Office 97/2000/ XP, and FrontPage. He is certified in Perl/CGI - 10/00; ASP - 10/00; SQL - 10/00; JavaScript and HTML.

Kathy, Lead Graphic Designer, is a graduate of Fitchburg State College holds a Bachelors Degree in communication media with a concentration in graphic design. She is versed in all areas of graphic design from freehand illustration to video and multimedia and continues to train and research emerging web development and CSS technologies. Kathy's fast and detail-oriented design skills are combined with Apple and Adobe software proficiency making her a valuable addition to the Rubic Design creative team. Kathy joined Rubic Design in 2005 and quickly expended her role as designer to include project management and design-team leadership responsibilities. She designs, leads and manages our manufacturing and technology clients.

Molly, Graphic Designer/Multimedia, is exceptionally skilled in graphic design and website development. She is proficient in industry-standard applications including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, GoLive, Flash, Indesign) as well as QuarkXpress, Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/ Excel. Molly is driven by excellence in design communications and strives to make an organization’s message and online presence effective, unique and friendly to the end-user. She joined the Rubic Design team in January 2007 and holds a BFA in graphic design and interactive communication technology from Salve Regina University.
