Matt Dutra chosen for BIF-3/RIDEC scholarship.
Rhode Island's Young Innovators: Local Designer Awarded N-GEN Scholarship

Business Innovation Factory (BIF), a subset of RI Economical Development Corporation, awards graphic designer Matt Dutra with a scholarship to attend upcoming conferences on business innovation. Dutra founded and currently operates Rubic Design Inc. located in Middletown, RI and has built websites for Children's Hospital Boston and U.S. Sailing's 2008 U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Team. Wall Street Journal columnist Walt Mossberg hosts the conference held at Trinity Rep and Mavericks at Work author Bill Taylor among others. The summit brings together innovators from across sectors and industries to explore themes in innovation. Two important things distinguish the BIF summit from other events-- they don't pay the storytellers to come and they come because they believe in the value of the experience. Second, storytellers only get 15 minutes on stage, so no canned presentations or company infomercials. Last year's summit had participants representing 154 organizations. Learn more about BIF-3 and Rubic Design Inc. at www.businessinnovationfactory.com/bif-3 and at Mr. Dutra's company website www.rubicdesign.com.
